Hello,
We're a belgian family living in Montreal. This summer we'll move to Europe. We are searching for a passenger freighter from Montreal to Antwerp or somewhere in France.
Can you give us some information?
Thank you!

Churchill again visited Miami, I recall, in the very early 1960's, briefly, on a 'farewell' cruise. However, I find no reference to this online. Have anything on this? I was delivering the Miami News at the time, and read of this visit. Unless I am just dreaming....?

Comment on Shipboard Spas: If It’s On A Ship, It Must Be A Steiners by Anonymous

This is a very good and accurate article, congratulations. I use to work for Steiner. And I may return, that is why I prefer to remain anonymous.
There is just one thing. Steiner pays on average 9% commission to fitness and hairdressing, and 7,35% for massage and beauty! Not 10% anymore.
The lectures themselves are free to attend, only the "cures" they want you to take are in the expensive range... actually the lectures are really all about selling. SPA personnel suffer huge amount of pressure to make money for the company.

Our family was given a 4 DVD set of the highlights of the Hurtigurten Cruise Documentary by a didstant relative. Is there something we could get that would translate any audio into english? Either written or recorded? We haven't had much time to watch it as a family, but what we did see had little or no speach. We would like to understand what the three ladies are talking about in the intrduction and what is being spoken during the remaing video. Can you help us. We don't understand the Norwegian language.

Direct e-mail response was sent including information on Polish Ocean service from Holland to Cleveland. Have requested availability for Mr. Ratliff and am checking about carrying his canoe. Please note that, for faster passenger freighter service, I suggest e-mail to freighters@rogers.com or fcherney@thecruisepeople.ca

I'm planning to re-trace a historical water route used by French explorers / fur traders in the 1600's - 1700's. I'll be canoeing from either Montreal or somewhere in the Great Lakes to my hometown in central Indiana. I have everything worked out except the transatlantic crossing. Ideally I would like to find passge between France and Montreal, but Europe to the Great Lakes will due if there are no other options.

If anyone would care to sponsor this portion of the journey, that would also help!

Glad you enjoyed the Poesia appreciate the good comments. I just got off the ship this past Saturday had an amazing time. Just a small correction.....the gelato is only $1.50 for a small and $2.50 for a large and it's to die for. You would pay at least double that on land or any other cruise line.
BTW you're right Teresa the Guest Relations Manager is the best at sea!
